What is the term for filing a claim?
The term varies according to the insurance and claim type. For theft of a vehicle the term for filing a claim is 24 hours, and for other events it is normally 3 working days. Claims at MTPL insurance may be filed within a period of 5 years from the occurrence date.
What is the period for payment of compensation for occurred claims?
The period varies according to the insurance type, but not more than 15 days after presentation of all documents, necessary for confirmation of the circumstances concerning the claim occurrence.
