This year Euroins and “With Tail Coat and Patent Leather Shoes” Dance Club jointly with IDSF (the International Dance Sport Federation) started an initiative for the First International Tournament in Latin and standard dances on the highest level. The idea is this event to mark the beginning of an annual dance competition establishing itself as traditional and most competitive event in Eastern Europe developing to a World Cup Championship. The event has already been approved by the Presidency of IDSF and officially announced in its Internet site as a date in the World Dance Calendar.

The tournament opens on March 26, 2005 at the Universiada Hall with a unique for Eastern Europe dance show presented by the guest artists Luis Armstrong and July Fryer - world champions in Latin dances and world-cup winners for show programs. They will show the 2 500 audience their latest show – “THE BEST OF THE BEST” thus making Sofia the fourth and last city in the world to see it after London, Tokyo and New York.

Same night and in the same hall they will both jury the first Tournament, and at the final the audience will welcome the six most elite dance couples in the world – the World Champions and Vice-Champions in standard dances, as well as the first three couples in Latin dances.
