On December 4, 2024, the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) hosted the 21st edition of the Youth Economic Forum, organized by the UNWE Student Council in partnership with the National Representation of Student Councils (NRSC). Over two days, students and guests engaged in discussions with representatives from various industries and Bulgaria’s political elite. This year's forum was under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.
Alexander Kolev, a member of the Management Board of Euroins, was a special guest on the forum’s second day. He participated in a discussion titled “The Readiness of Bulgaria’s Financial Sector for the Adoption of the Euro.” The panel also included Deputy Minister of Finance Metodi Metodiev, Todor Plugchiev, Head of Strategic Planning at Postbank, and UNWE Vice Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies, Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova.
Mr. Kolev praised UNWE's leadership for the university’s growth over the years and expressed his admiration for the full auditorium of students actively participating in this pressing national topic. He emphasized that Euroins is fully meeting its commitments and following all steps in preparation for the euro adoption. He assured attendees that the company is technologically ready for the transition and will not face operational challenges during the process.
The Euroins team extended its gratitude to the UNWE Student Council for the invitation and the opportunity to engage with such motivated and insightful young individuals.
