For the tenth consecutive year, with the support of Euroins, the 100km Vitosha Hiking and Cycling Challenge took place. On June 21 and 22, 2025, a record number of participants joined the 100 km race — 3,500 hikers and cyclists, along with 700 runners from Bulgaria and abroad. Professionals and amateurs alike, aged between 13 and 72, representing various professions and nationalities, came together, united by their passion for sports.
This year as well, Euroins was proudly represented by our colleague Anatoli Peshev – IT Service Manager. Anatoli competed in the cycling discipline, driven by his greatest motivation: to be a role model for his son, inspiring him to love sports and to face challenges without fear.
The winner of the cycling category was Emil Stoynev, who set a new course record with an impressive time of 3:46:56. In the women’s category, another record was achieved by teenager Yoanna Valkova, who completed the course in 5:03:52.
The hikers also delivered incredible performances. For yet another year, Hristo Tsvetkov claimed the title—he remains the first athlete to run the 100 km around Vitosha in under 7 hours, finishing in 6:56:40. In the women’s category, the victory went to Monika Filipova, who completed the course in 9:13:21.
Euroins continues to support Bulgarian sports, believing that this is the way to build a strong, resilient, and united society.
