Euroins supported the Financial Supervision Commission initiative “Pennies for Happiness.”
News
Insurance company Euroins actively participated in the charity initiative of the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) – “Pennies for Happiness.”
With the help of the program, more than half a ton of coins was collected in support of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) and children in disadvantaged social situations. Within three months, the cause raised nearly €10,000, which have already been donated to the BRC’s “Warm Lunch” program.
The initiative was launched in December 2025 and brought together employees from the non-banking sector with the aim of supporting children from socially vulnerable groups. Representatives from across the sector took part in the campaign, including the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, Central Depository, Guarantee Fund, Bulgarian Development Bank, pension insurance companies, insurance companies – including Euroins – as well as academic institutions.
For 22 years, the “Warm Lunch” program has been providing free meals to children from low-income families. In this way, it supports their daily school life, creates a sense of security, and contributes to better health. Since its establishment in 2004, more than 27,000 children across the country have benefited from this support.
During the 2025/2026 school year, the initiative plans to cover 1,670 children, who will receive a warm lunch every school day during the winter months.
Through its participation in the initiative, Euroins reaffirms its position as a company with a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.
We would like to thank all our employees who once again took part in and supported a charitable cause.
