For the eleventh consecutive year, Euroins stood behind one of Bulgaria’s most inspiring and iconic sporting events, the Vitosha 100 km Hiking and Cycling Tour 2026, as its official insurer.
For more than a decade, the event has brought together people for whom the mountain represents freedom, movement, and a way of life, and for whom challenges are a personal cause. The Vitosha 100 km Tour is more than just a race. It is a test of spirit, determination, and endurance that unites thousands of participants around the magic of the mountain.
On June 27 and 28, 2026, more than 3,500 hikers and cyclists, along with 700 runners from Bulgaria and abroad, took on the 100-kilometre course. Among them were professional athletes and amateurs, people of different ages, professions, and nationalities, ranging from 13 to 72 years old, all connected by their passion for sport, nature, and overcoming their own limits.
This year, Euroins once again had a worthy representative in the cycling event. Anatoli Peshev, Director of IT Operations and Information Security, took part in the challenge for yet another year, this time side by side with his son, Todor, proving that the most valuable support comes from family.
As a socially responsible company, Euroins actively supports initiatives that promote an active and healthy lifestyle. All registered participants in the Vitosha 100 km Tour 2026 were covered under the company’s Group Tourism Insurance for Bulgaria, which provides protection against accident-related expenses incurred during the event, up to the limits specified in the insurance policy.
Supporting sporting initiatives and encouraging an active lifestyle are integral parts of Euroins’ long-term commitment to society and to the development of sport in Bulgaria.
