Rumiana Betova

Rumiana Betova has over 20 years of experience as a leader in the insurance industry. Mrs. Betova started her career as an insurance expert at "Sofia Inns" AD in 1995. She is a certified actuary member of the "Bulgarian Actuarial Society" (BAD) and a full member of the "International Actuarial Association" (IAA) and "Group Consultative".

In 1999 she joined the team of QBE Insurance (Europe) Limited
Since 2012 she has been the manager of QBE Insurance (Europe) Limited - Sofia branch
In 2014 she became an executive director of Euroins Insurance JSC.
Since 2015 she is a member of the Management Board and executive director of "Insurance Company EIG Re" EAD.

Rumiana Betova holds a master's degree in "Social Security and Insurance Management" from the Academy of Economics D.A. Cenov and a master's degree in mathematics from the "Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski.

She speaks English and Russian.
