In the framework of the 25th anniversary charity bazaar of the embassies in Bulgaria held on December 1st, 2019 at the Inter Expo Centre, all foreign missions in Bulgaria presented at their stands handmade products, souvenirs, delicacies from their national cuisine, traditional clothing and various cultural customs.

"Representatives from 62 countries united not only in another charitable cause, but all expressed their solidarity and support for the victims of the earthquake in Albania." "2019 is a pivotal year for us because in addition to the 25th anniversary of the bazaar, the International Women's Club - IWC is also celebrating its 30th anniversary. That is why we have prepared special surprises for all visitors of the event. It is a great pleasure for me that over the years we have been able to push the key message that together we are better and to support so much socially significant initiatives and projects, "commented Albena Jones.

All proceeds from the bazaar are traditionally donated to charitable projects that the International Women's Club supports, "Jones explained." Charity is a virtue that each of us hold inside himself. "Ms Jones said.

The bazaar was visited by more than 12,000 people this year, the organizers said. The exact number of ticket sales statistics will be announced later and the funds raised will be announced in mid-January 2020.

"In 2019, the International Women's Club - Sofia stood behind 30 causes - the highest number in the history of the club so far. The support came through the funds raised from last year's edition of the event, which amounted to BGN 389,000. All proceeds from this year's bazaar again will be donated to the charity", Mrs.Jones noted.
