Euroins insurance JSC supported the 2019 „Leader of the Year” campaign

Euroins insurance JSC supported the 2019 „Leader of the Year” campaign, organized by the Bulgarian National Radio. The online campaign was conducted on the BNR website and started on October 1st. Within a month, the voting platform was open and everyone had the opportunity to cast their vote for their favorite for the 2019 Leader. On November 1st, at the National Leader holiday, the winners were presented with a ceremony at Hall 6 of the National Palace of Culture.

The campaign was attended by over 100 nominated Bulgarians, who contributed to the improvement of our society. The jury of the campaign included Dr. Milen Vrabevski, Prof. Ognian Gerdjikov, Eleonora Gadzhieva, Snezhana Yoveva Dimitrova, Dobrina Cheshmedzhieva, Prof. Plamen Pavlov and Iva Doychinova, initiator of „Leader of the Year".

The creator of the Forest.BG initiative, Nikola Rakhnev, won the "2019 Leader of the Year" award. He received the most votes on the platform on www.bnr.bg. With 622,000 trees planted and the ambition to become 1,000,000 by the end of 2019, Rakhnev has succeeded in inspiring thousands of Bulgarians to get involved in planting and support the fight against air pollution. The 2019 Leader Award for Sculpture was won by Alexander Proinov's "I, Buki, Vedi - Knowledge" project. The award of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation was won by Nurgul Salimova, a miracle child from the village of Krepcha, who wins a post-chess competition and has an ambition to become number 1 in the world. The special award went to StudyHub with the Student City 24-Hour Library Project. The "Hristo Botev" program award was won by the "Caps for the Future" project, which collects plastic caps and with the money from them buys incubator for premature babies.
